is a membership based institution of higher learning. This unique
program began 2000 A.D. under the direction of
Hakim Dr. Mohammed H. Shaikh , author, educator,
physician, and president of the "CENTRAL RESEARCH
INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES", Mumbia-India...
Assisting were Dr. Angie Ubosi, President (AFSA International
Holistic Medical Society,Inc.) West Africa - USA, and,
Dr. H. E. Lee, President-International, the( Association For
Spiritual Awareness & Holistic Principles of Body, Mind,
& Spirit, Inc.), and, the ( Native American College of Natural
Medicine, Inc., a State Approved institution of Higher Education,
In Good Standing), USA.... In 2001 A.D., an official resolution
was approved by the Governing Board of the
Native American College of Natural Medicine, Inc. - USA
to adopt and Officially Charter C.R.I.O.M.S.'s natural sciences
program, the "American College of Unani Medicine",
USA....

GOALS & OBJECTIVES
Our program was designed for academic purposes. In order to
adequately present our diverse programs we believe that a
"Membership" platform will accommodateour members/
students through our wealth of subject matter covering Unani
Medicine and supportive disciplines. We can entertain more
freedoms as a "Membership- Fellowship",exercising our
privilege to educate and exchange some of the most dynamic
holisticBody, Mind, & Spirit healing techniques known to
mankind. Unani Medicine is"A Way of Life", incorporating
every tool necessary to experience optimum Body, Mind,
and Spirit harmony. With foregoing in mind, please continue
reading our official statement of "Academic/Membership
Goals & Objectives:
To advance the scientific study and professional practice of
Unani Medicine by supporting and encouraging it's
development through promoting research, establishing
superior standards of professional ethics, competent conduct,
academic qualifications and achievement by practitioners
promoting the dissemination of knowledge in Unani Medicine
through systimatic training, continuing education, local groups
and organizations, lectures, seminars, academic reports,
workshops, debates, exhibitions, publications, and other
interest and inquiry regarding Unani Medicine.
Through our programs and membership, establish and
maintain a "no excuse" platform securing and
upholding integrity, credibility, and honor, subscribing
earnestly to "real" and working academic agendas reflective
of the degree of certification or professional membership
levels awarded, and, always be in sole compliance with
local, state, and federal laws governing institutions of higher
learning, and, present our programs, membership,
and certifications perfectly clear so as to not project any
aspect of our institution or programs claiming any academic
or certification authority that does not exist within our
academic, certification, or membership authority, and,
because of the same, we operate under a "open door"
policy.
To serve as a forum for exchanging scientific and
scholarly ideas and information regarding Unani Medicine
adjoined with priority of assisting the World's population
with becoming educated and aware of preventive
and healing contributions that are directly benefited from
the application and practice of Unani Medicine.
To recognize and publicly award Hakims, Doctors,
Scientist, Researchers, Educators, and other Lay and
Professional persons involved with the study/practice of
Unani Medicine and it's popularization, and, to bestow real
and honorary titles, awards, and certification to
"High Achievers" affiliated with research or promotion
of Unani Medicine.
